The 2023 Independent National Electoral Commission’s training sessions will be held in specific places in Nigeria and every successful candidate is required to show up promptly at each training location to which they might be deployed. If you are one of the shortlisted candidates and do not show up at the training facility within the allotted time, it simply means that you have rejected the offer.

Hence shortlisted candidates are accepted by the Independent National Electoral Commission to be at the training facility by the allotted time for the recruitment training.

According to INEC official portal, after the list of shortlisted candidates is revealed following the physical screening process, candidates will receive some brief training to assist them to be ready for the great challenge that lies ahead.
The orientation session for newly hired Adhoc officers will take place throughout the training camp which shortlisted candidates will be deployed.

For the recruitment training for INEC 2023 Adhoc staff, the Independent National Electoral Commission will accept shortlisted candidates and the training session is a requirement for all INEC shortlisted candidates to be tutored about the rudiment of the job and to know what is expected of them during the discharge of their duties.

Note

Having your name on the shortlist does not signify that you have become an Adhoc staff because the shortlisted candidate will be automatically rejected if they are not present at the INEC Adhoc staff training venue at the scheduled date. However, the 2023 INEC training date has not yet been officially set.

After the physical examination exercise, the training will commence. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to hold off until the Independent National Electoral Commission announces the start date for the training program.

INEC Adhoc Staff Training Requirements 2023

All selected candidates for INEC 2023 Adhoc staff training are expected to bring to their respective training camps the originals and copies of the following documents:

  1. Copies of your credentials and the original
  2. Four copies of a color photo that is 5 by 7 and isn’t wearing a hat or cap.
  3. You need writing implements such as biro, pencils, rulers, notebooks, and file jackets.
  4. Three sets of unmarked white round-neck vests, two pairs of white and black socks, and navy blue shorts without stripes.
  5. Two pairs of pure canvas sneakers in black (rubber type NOT acceptable),
  6. There are also two white pillowcases and sheets.
  7. Two long-sleeved white shirts, two pairs of black pants, and one quilt (grey or army green color),

In addition to the above, other things ought to be brought are a bucket, cutlasses, and brooms, which you can buy when you get to the camp; you might also need some pocket money, toiletries, two black clothes, facemasks among the extra items.
