The Nigeria Immigration Service has made an announcement on its hiring drive for 2023. Applications from qualified Nigerians are now being accepted for a commission into the Nigeria Immigration Service. All civilians are welcome to apply.

However, serving members of the armed forces or paramilitary groups who are sponsored by one of the Services of the Nigerian Armed Forces will be taken into consideration.

NIS 2023 Recruitment Positions:

CATEGORY A: Superintendent Cadre

CATEGORY B: Inspectorate Cadre

CATEGORY C: Assistant Cadre

Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment Requirements

Here are some of the criteria required of NIS interested candidates

  • Applicants shall be of Nigerian nationality.
  • Applicant must possess 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in either WASSCE/GCE/NECO or NABTEB. Hence, one of these credits must include the English Language.
  • In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, those applying as tradesmen women must also possess OND/Trade Tcst/City and Guild Certificates.
  • Applicant must be between 18 – 22 years of age for non-tradesmen women while tradesmen women must be between 18 – 26 years of age by 1st June 2023.
  • Candidate must be free of any form of a criminal conviction in Nigeria.
  • Applicant must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • Candidates must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for male sand 1.56 meters tall for females.
  • You are to print out a slip tagged: Photocard after the completion of your registration, which should be presented at the screening center.

Candidates with under-listed medical issues are advised not to apply. Medical deficiencies such as:

  • Sight or hearing issues
  • A history of significant orthopedic surgery.
  • A flat foot, a fracture, stuttering, or
  • Any other natural disability
  • Expecting mothers

How to Apply for Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment 2023

Interested candidates who wants to apply for 2023 NIS recruitment should follow the application guidelines below;

  • Visit www.cdcfib.career
  • Create an account using your Email and Password
  • Enter your details correctly
  • Upload required documents
  • Complete your application form, and ensure you double-check all inputted details before you click on submit
  • After you have submitted the form, ensure you print out a copy of your Photocard as appropriate.

Application Closing Date: All applications must be summited online within two (2) weeks from the date of publication.

It is worthy of note that you will bring copies of your Photocard printed from the portal as well as any pertinent qualification documents to the chosen recruitment center that you will be deployed to.

Note:

  • Each candidate’s state of origin will be used for all recruitment screening.
  • Any candidate who failed or falsified their results and was found out even while undergoing training at the Nigeria Immigration Service training camp would be withdrawn and handed over to the Nigerian police for proper prosecution.
  • The NIS 2023 application form is free
  • Candidates are cautioned not to offer any type of reward or enticement to anyone or any group of people in exchange for their assistance in the recruitment process.
  • Candidates who have been shortlisted will be made public on the NIS portal and scheduled for screening.
