1.) CBT Exams
The NSCDC CBT Exam is to test the knowledge of applicants who successfully passed the online application and to determine if they are qualified to move to the next phase of the recruitment exercise.
Please don’t be scared of the NSCDC Exam. The exam is very simple because the questions are objective questions, I mean OBJ which is tick and go. All you need to do is to read very well because the questions are from Current affairs, English language and Mathematics.
Don’t forget, they will also ask you many things about the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
2.) Physical Screening And Credentials Documentation
This is another phase of the recruitment exercise where you will be required to present all the documents you uploaded online during the NSCDC online recruitment.
Shortlisted candidates are going to submit their credentials at their respective physical screening centers.
Below are the documents you will be asked to present at the NSCDC screening venue:
- Passport photographs
- Attestation Forms duly signed
- Academic Certificates
Birth Certificate/Age declaration - Medical Reports
- Original Credentials used during the online Application
- Local Government Certificate
- Parental Consent
- Valid means of identification such as Drivers License, National ID Card, Voters Card or International Passport

3.) Collection of Appointment Letter
This is the third phase of the NSCDC recruitment where successful applicants will be given letter of appointment for passing the online and screening exercises.
4.) Training
This is the last phase of the recruitment. Here, successful applicants who have been selected and recruited into the agency will be trained to know the rules and regulations that governs the agency.
Note, Successful Candidates or applicants are expected to train at their state command.
